DVD Live at Kampnagel. After the incredible success of their concept album Posthumous Silence, Sylvan staged a huge live show on September 1, 2007 to record this stunning double CD as well as a DVD. With a string section and backup singers and a powerful light show, this sold out show brings all of Posthumous Silence to life as well as other Sylvan favorites. Again Sylvan is able to fascinate the audience with multilayered sound designs, catchy melodies, emotionally intense atmospheres or hard bits, all coupled with complex thematic motifs. The captivating guitar riffs perfectly blend with wonderful melodies, spherical and psychedelic parts, all combined to a whole by the recognizable voice of Marco Lehmann (some similarity to Scott Stapp) and several instrumental passages.
