This album, recorded in 2024 by three musicians who have become indispensable figures in the Japanese music scene, captures interplay that constantly releases the primal energy inherent in 'playing, ' while at the same time carrying a spontaneous radicalism. While rooted in jazz and free jazz forms, it leads the listener right to the edge, as if drawing them together into it's liminal state.Another key attraction is the sound production, which brims with dimensionality and an overwhelming scale. The mixing was handled by Tatsuhisa Yamamoto himself, with mastering by Jim O'Rourke.
