Pink Turtle are transformers - the quick-change artist kind, not the planet Cybertron kind. Their gleeful transformations plunder some of pop music's greatest hits, giving them a swing-disguise that is all jazz. After five years, two albums and more than 300 concerts, these enfants terrible's continue celebrating the 21st century with a pop & roaring-twenties twist. On a la Mode, the group's third album, Pink Turtle perform songs by the Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Dire Straits, Supertramp and Bob Marley in re-interpretations that honor the originals while still making them all their own.
