Phil Nimmons - Sands of Time

(2-CD set) Phil Nimmons is a legend of Canadian jazz. Long known as an outstanding composer/arranger & leader of medium & large sized bands, he has finally recorded an album which showcases his magnificent clarinet work. All the tunes on this 2-CD set were written by Phil, and he's joined by pianist Gary Williamson, bassist Steve Wallace & drummer Barry Elmes. Phil's association with these fine players stretches back more than a decade. This is virtuoso jazz playing of the highest order.
