Gottorf Castle in Schleswig is not only one of Schleswig-Holstein's most important architectural monuments but also a site of cultural significance because of the chapel masters who once served in the castle's court ensemble. Our new series of Music for Gottorf Castle dedicates itself to sacred cantatas by the Gottorf court chapel master Pfleger (1635-86).
