The idea behind NEW is that it would be a multiproducer Paul McCartney album with four distinct styles, four different sets of ideas, coming together as one. The album was executive produced by Giles Martin, with production by Martin, Mark Ronson, Ethan Johns and Paul Epworth. Mastered by Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound, New York.
