Our Miss Fred

After being drafted to fight in WWII and sent to the front in France, actor Fred Wimbush is called upon to use his talent to entertain the troops. But while dressed in drag in a camp show, he is captured by advancing Nazi forces. Sure to be shot if he reveals that he is a soldier, Fred determines to stay in character-and costume. Joining up with a company of English school girls, he plans to evade detection and ultimately make it to freedom. Or defeat the Nazis with double entendres and knee-slapping laughter. 1972
