Holiday release from the Canadian outfit. The Once are a folk trio from Newfoundland. They have produced several albums and toured all over the world with artists like Passenger and Great Big Sea. This Christmas album came from a series of concerts featuring their favorite Christmas songs, and new ones they created themselves. Like all their music it is a fascinating blend of acoustic melody, gorgeous singing, and complex emotional nuances.
