Number - The Number

This is the first full length album from Japanese duo The Number; a project by Samon Takahashi and Tsuyoshi Abe. They've previously released Small EP on Creation Centre (Japan) in 2007 and have also participated on the compilation a Monster Hatches An Egg (Acrawlspace, 2009). The Number bring together acoustic instruments and electronics - calmly, delicately, beautifully and dramatically with a superior sense. Vocals are by noteworthy female Singer mmm ([mi-maimo-]). The sound of acoustic guitar and piano and electronics lightly weave a masterpiece - experimental, harmonious, pop. Splendid and sensual.
