Life is to live!! Nothing is a waste in life!! Enjoy the moment!! This is the message I have for all my songs. I hope you enjoy the album. Here is the notes to the songs in the album. 1. So Charming You It's about "love at first sight". It happens. No matter how short it took to fall in love, go for it. That's the message of the song. 2. You are You When you love someone, it is because it is You who I love. Because you are nothing but you. I love you because "You are You". 3. Ridiculously Blue This song is about a guy who sounds ridiculous but it is because he is sad from a break up. Sometimes, you wish you could sound ridiculous, when you are ridiculously blue. 4. Paint the World This was written for children. This world we live in is basically wonderful. I want children to paint the world as they see it and smile. And it is our responsibility to keep the world as such a place. 5. For Love Love is what we live for and also to die for. This song is to take a look at that from a woman's eyes. 6. You're My Home This song is for my wife. She keeps the place we share together as such that I can rest, enjoy and empowered by. But it's not the place. It is she who is my home. 7. Lullaby For You This song in Japanese is about a night when you are away from your loved one. Even when you're away you're watching the same Moon, you share the same prayer. And you see each other in dreams. 8. Simply Put Life is not that complicated. If you love somebody, tell them that you do in a straightforward manner. If you are a little shy, say the title of this song before the confession. 9. Sunday Afternoon It is a strange time. It is still a day off but Monday is coming closer and you can hear it. But..... relax and enjoy. 10. Love is You Originally it was a bossa nova. Peter said, "why not swing it?" And it turned out to sound great. It is my very first song in swing. Enjoy. 11. Walk Together Talk Together This song is a theme song of American Field Service, which sponsors exchange program of mainly high school kids on a global scale. I wrote a part of this song in 1976 adding it to the repeat section, which is from a book in Sanskrit. 12. A Week in July This was written for the people I worked with for my first CD "When You Are With Me" to thank for their work which was recorded in a week in July, 2009. (Most of them have played on this CD, too.)
