Short-timing veteran LAPD cop Ethan Hawkins (Justin Long) was making his last task the proper breaking in of his new partner, reformed gangbanger Xavier Carr (Jermaine Fowler). Xavier, though, was more interested in joining the off-the-books task force run by Deputy (CM Punk)-and as he got in too deep, he'd learn the unholy reason why the rogue policemen only operated after sundown.
