Mississippi cop Matt Shaw (Josh Duhamel) had opted for early retirement, in light of how the job fissured his family and his desire to spend more time with resentful teen son Aaron (Corbin Pitts). However, the goodbye party at the station got crashed by a blood-soaked stranger (Dylan Sprouse)-who asserted he'd buried Aaron alive, and gave Shaw a 10-hour ultimatum to solve three apparently unrelated murders.
