Nayanna Holley - On Love & Fear

Combined with three tours as a background singer for Sheryl Crow, Nayanna Holley has performed with artists such as Jennifer Hudson, Chrisette Michelle, The Roots, Queen Latifah, and the Dave Matthews Band. She was featured on "Bom Tempo", the 2011 GRAMMY-nominated album by Sergio Mendes. She toured France with rock legend Johnny Hallyday and has made several background appearances on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Drawing inspiration from her experiences as a young wanderlust, Nayanna recently began to write music of her own. Two elements breathed their own life into many of her songs: love and fear. Collaborating with guitarist and producer Chris Bruce (Me'Shell Ndegeocello, Seal, Aimee Mann), and featuring Meshell Ndegeocello on bass, Nayanna has created a personal work that draws from her wide range of musical experience. With traces of jazz, folk, and soul, "On Love & Fear" is a testament to a young life that embraces one and conquers the other every time she steps on stage.
