Najponk is a jazz pianist who has focused his whole career on careful performance of the classics in jazz repertoire. For this album, Najpon has invited bassist George Mraz and drummer Matt Fishwick. This grouping of fantastic performances of pieces from Najponk's favorite standards also contains pieces by Thelonious Monk, Ron Carter, and original compositions by Najponk.
