The members of the Kuijken family are renowned for their contributions to early music scholarship and performance practice. Flutist Barthold Kuijken specializes in the performance of early music on original instruments. Currently principal flutist in La Petite Bande, Kuijken also plays chamber music concerts all over the world and has recorded extensively.
