Minute 36 - Argument Between the Taste & the Feeling

Blending the sounds of double bass, cello, arch top guitar and a two piece drum kit, the spooky upbeat music of Minute 36 is laced with Kris Nelson's (the band's songwriter) deep yet cynically witty lyrics. The sound falls somewhere between a horror movie score and a tortured pop song with a unique tongue in cheek quirkiness to it. The band has recently taken out Western Australia's prestigious 'WAM Song of the Year' in 2009, placed highly in the Ampfest and Next Big Thing band competitions, performed all over WA including major festivals Southbound, One Movement and the Nannup Music Festival.
