Maxine Brown is one of the most beloved of all the early female soul singers and she is still a regular visitor to the UK and Europe. Presented here are her first 45s in chronological order which she released between 1960 and 1962. Her first major hit, "All In My Mind" is now acknowledged as being one of the first soul singles by a female artist. This CD set also includes her very first album "The Fabulous Sound of Maxine Brown" which consisted entirely of 45s.
