Jessica Drew (aka Spider-Woman) is recruited by the shadowy espionage agency S.W.O.R.D. to track down Skrulls, the shapeshifting aliens who once abducted her and replaced her with an imposter. Her mission takes her to the grimy streets of the Asian island of Madripoor, where she encounters the terrorist group HYDRA and the super-villain team the Thunderbolts.
