On this debut outing of the unique "FOCUS" Trio, Grammy-nominated pianist Marc Cary brings into sharp focus his many influences - from deep indigenous world rhythms to hard bop to classical lyricism. Cary's imaginative key-work is famed from recording and touring with Stefon Harris, Betty Carter, Abbey Lincoln, Roy Hargrove and Wynton Marsalis, just to name a few.
