Features vintage 17 "southern soul" tracks by two talented but sadly underrated artists, C.P. Love and Jimmy Dobbins. Both artists had 45s issued in the early 1970s on Malaco's Chimneyville label but failed to make much of an impact at the time. This CD features those singles plus other tracks which were recorded at Malaco but remained unissued for many years. Liner notes by John Ridley.
