Love Positions - Billiepeebup

Named after Joey Ramone's blurred "Blitzkrieg Bop" chorus, the Billiepeebup collection captures Love Positions collaborators Nic Dalton (then with the Plunderers) and Robyn St. Clare (then with the Hummingbirds) exploring romance and emotions and everyday circumstances with raw, dreamy, irresistible honesty. This being evidenced by the spawning of notable hits "Into Your Arms" for the Lemonheads and Don't Go Now for Ratcat. Complimenting these discriminating originals are seductive cover versions of trax originally performed by the Boys Next Door (Shivers), Prince (Kiss) and Lou Reed (Satellite of Love), amongst others with all 24 songs being affectionately recorded onto a Tascam 4 track between 1985 and 1989. When released on limited vinyl, this album was an astonishing success on export to many territories in 1990!!! Featuring 10 bonus tracks not on the original LP - and packaged in a unique cardboard deluxe case, this is a timely addition to any collection of Aussie indie pop!
