Leon Redbone died on 30th, May 2019 at the age of 69. Only one week later, on June 6th., his long-time friend and colleague Malcolm Mac John Rebennack Jr., better known as Dr. John or The Night Tripper, also said Goodbye to this world. The re-release of Leon Redbone's Christmas album Christmas Island brings us back both amazing musicians for a few wonderful moments.
