"Laudanum is the electro project of French artist Matthieu Malon (a songwriter whose first album Froids was released in 2000 on Village Vert/Wagram). Between 2002 and 2009, laudanum released 3 critically-acclaimed records (his first album System: On was the album of the month and of the year for MAGIC in 2002). The first two albums featured prestigious collabs (Aidan Moffat of Arab Strap, Laetitia Sheriff, Christian Quermalet of Married Monks, Angil...).
