The album is the third release by the band for Nonesuch Records and follows up their break out release, Free Yourself Up, which debuted top 10 on the Billboard Album charts (a career peak for the band). Obviously was produced by Grammy Award-winning producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Mike Elizondo.
