The Kuss Quartet, renowned for their penetrating and searching performances of quartet repertoire spanning from Haydn to Birtwhistle, celebrate the Beethoven anniversary year with this boxed set of his complete string quartets. Recorded live in Tokyo's Suntory Hall, the Kuss Quartet performs on the four Stradivarius instruments collectively known as the 'Paganini Quartet.' Among the most cherished possessions of the famed virtuoso, these superb instruments were loaned from the Nippon Music Foundation.
