Dutch trio Kraak and Smaak's live and DJ performances and exceptional studio work have resulted in a series of classic albums. Celebrating their twentieth year in the game, they proudly present Twenty - The Remixes; a compilation of new and classic remixes of some of their most celebrated tunes. With remixes ranging from indie-electronic vibes to Disco Boogie and house, this remix compilation is as diverse as K&S's celebrated original catalogue. The remix album obviously starts with their breakout smash, 'Squeeze Me', with Moods flipping this certified classic into a modern, Funk-filled groover. Next up is Jafunk, tackling 'U R Freak' from the Juicy Fruit era, after which Lazywax delivers an 80's tinged discotheque makeover of 'Alone With You,' the collab with Cleopold. Soulful highlight 'Naked' undergoes a phenomenal transformation by the upcoming Jitwam, lending his signature sound to the sultry vocal number. LA's Brijean gift us a glassy, bass-forward rendition of 'How We Gonna Stop The Time', after which Girls of the Internet bridge groovy House with chilled-out vibes in their stellar interpretation of 'Forget About You', featuring the one and only Lee Fields. Next up are UK Funk masters The Allergies, armed with live breaks and rough-cut samples galore, delivering a groove-infused version of 'Money In The Bag'. Hot Toddy then amps up the Chic in his classic Disco-appropriate rendition of 'Back Again', while Psychemagik dive into 'Corsica '80' from the Scirocco era, resulting in a film noir version of the original. After, Electronic royalty Richard Dorfmeister takes the renowned collaboration with Parcels, 'Stumble', and molds it into a blissed-out, granular rendition. Finally, Ashley Beedle infuses 'Bobby & Whitney' with an effortless swing, and German hit machine Purple Disco Machine delivers an electrifying version of 'Alone With You,' sure to ignite any venue it touches.
