Kimberley Dahme was born on Earth Day, April 22nd in San Pablo California. She started her musical training at an early age, and the first song she learned was 'Jesus Loves Me' at 3 years old! As a small child, Kimberley often played chords on her guitar or created melodies on her flute. She sang along with lyrics spanning everything from Country to Rock, Classical to Pop which helps explain why today Kimberley doesn't just write one style. Her older brother was a huge BOSTON fan, and overnight so was Kimberley. Darrin made sure Kimberley knew all the right words to 'Smokin', 'More than a Feeling,' 'Longtime,' 'Peace of Mind' and 'Party'. That was just the beginning. At 19 she started to sing for different radio jingles . Her credits include Modesto, Toyota, Wrangler Jeans, Pontiac and Ford, among others. Kimberley received two different scholarships to attended college, one for music, the other basketball. She also trained in Radio/TV announcing. As a Freshman in college she wanted to go on a tour singing across Europe. There was only one scholarship being offered and she won it. She sang 'A Midsummer Night's Dream.' This was Kimberley's first time out of the United States. She toured Europe where she impressed a new group of fans. In 1997, Kimberley moved to Nashville, TN and she immediately got busy. She competed and won a spot on the Nashville New Faces World tour, which, took her to Germany for the second time. There, she made many friends and fans. She's returned to Germany to perform many times over the years. Kimberley was noticed by Tom Scholz and Gary Pihl of the band BOSTON, when they came to a club performance looking for a new drummer. Tom Scholz, Boston's founder was impressed with Kimberley's singing and asked her if she could play bass. A couple of months later on January 1st, 2001, Kimberley was on stage at the Fiesta Bowl in front of 80,000 people and millions of TV viewers. This was her debut with the band and her first time playing bass guitar professionally. Tom Scholz liked her song-writing so much that he included a song she wrote called 'With You' on the BOSTON album 'Corporate America.' 'With You' will be released again on Kimberley's new CD 'Can't a Girl Change Her Mind.' Four tours later with BOSTON have made her one of the fan favorites and a stand out example for women who Rock. Kimberley Dahme has always been and will always be a singer/songwriter/producer. Kimberley's solo music is so pleasant and has a country rock feel as well as that roots rock vibe running through it.
