Keiko Matsui is by no means a stranger to the Contemporary Jazz Billboard Charts or the Radio Airplay Charts. She has been named Top Indie Contemporary Jazz Artist of the year by Billboard Magazine and earned her accolades with the American Society "Essence Award," the National Smooth Jazz Award and Best Female Artist in 2000 and 2001.
