Joost Lijbaart / Wolfert Brederode - One

Joost Lijbaart: In 2006, Wolfert Brederode and I recorded this album, ONE. It was the result of an intuitive decision to do some performances as a duo. We sounded good together and I was amazed by all the time and space we could create. It gave me so many ideas to color, to play rhythms, and to use all my percussion instruments with different textures. In 2021 we recorded the album Ruins and Remains for ECM.
