John Coltrane - Standard Coltrane/Stardust

EU-only digitally remastered two-fer containing a pair of classic John Coltrane albums in their entireties: STANDARD COLTRANE, which merited a four-star rating in Down Beat, and STARDUST. Both LPs were recorded during the course of the same two sessions in 1958 and present the leader in a quintet format backed on most of the tracks by the Miles Davis rhythm section of that time, plus trumpeters Wilbur Harden and Freddie Hubbard. One other song from the sessions, which was not included on either of the original LPs, has been added here as a bonus. Includes 16-page booklet.
