Jason Blaine - While We Were Waiting

The Canadian Country singer won "Project Discovery 2002" and tasted chart success with his debut single "That's What I Do", which spent 12 weeks in the Top 20 on Canadian Country Radio charts. Blaine spent the majority of his available time in Nashville, developing his craft as a writer, co-writing with Canadian successes Deric Ruttan & Paul Brandt among others, landing "I Still Do" on Brandt's latest record. An abundance of written material was sifted for this collection of songs recorded with Canadian producer Jason Barry. Nominated for the "Best New Country Group or Solo Artist" at the 2006 Canadian Radio Music Awards as well as a CCMA nomination for Independent single of the year, Blaine is confident that the inroads made at radio with his debut single will continue to pay dividends.
