Jane Weaver - Cherlokalate

The second full-length album from Jane Weaver, Cherlokalate spins songs into fragile and sparkling lullabies (The Guardian). Inspired by cult folk artists, from Karen Dalton to Linda Perhacs, these ten songs create a unique commentary on personal travails through happiness and pain, all brimming with passion and sorrow. An intimate journey of ethereal folk sweetness, elevated by gorgeous production, aching pedal steel, violins and, in parts, a mutated take on VU-styled rock.Imagine Julie Driscoll locked in a studio with American Spring and Broadcast.
