Two of the most expressive and prolific figures in Jazz history, multi-reed instrumentalist James Moody and trumpeter, composer & arranger Thad Jones have a combined discography that includes over 670 separate studio and live recordings with most of the genre's finest luminaries. While they performed with many of the same musicians, their complete collaborative output consists of the two sessions, the first of which appears here.
