Inspiral Carpets - Life

Inspiral Carpets emerged during the 'madchester' scene of the late eighties, alongside bands like the Stone Roses and Happy Mondays, with their debut album 'Life' being released on Mute records in 1990 and reaching top 10 in the UK charts. Their Psychedelic sound set them apart from their peers. This 2 CD extended edition of the album includes the original album, with the bands first two Ep's, 'Planecrash EP' and Train surfing EP', and their first BBC session for John Peel in 1988. The second disc features a DVD video of their '21790' live show from Manchester GMEX, which is available complete on DVD for the first time.
