In the 1990s, much of the outlaw culture surrounding bikers has been softened and re-appraised, but some biker gangs remain unchanged, unreformed and deadly. New York's infamous Ching-A-Lings are a classic example of all the bad stereotypes that bikers have tried to throw off in recent years: violent, threatening, and criminal. ROAD WARRIORS is an unflinching look inside this long-lived South Bronx gang. Originally from Puerto Rico, the New York chapter formed in 1963. They have terrorized their area ever since, with membership once approaching 100 members (though accurate figures are hard to come by). Drug use and gun violence have thinned their ranks, but some 30 dedicated members remain. Theirs is a world where loyalty means they'll do anything for the gang even die for it. Here, gang members Bandit, Indio, Peter, Pepper Juni, Mark and Outlaw, and their attorney, Lewis Alperin, offer a glimpse inside a seedy, dark and dangerous world.
