Inept plumbers Eddie (Bud Abbott) and Albert (Lou Costello) are accidentally invited to a high society bash and are mistaken as hoity-toity members of the social elite. But when a valuable painting turns up missing at the soiree-and the boys are accused of theft-they plunge themselves into a wild odyssey to find the real bad guys and recover the artwork.
