Awaiting his fate on the gallows, imprisoned 18th-century Irish body snatcher Arthur Blake (Dominic Monaghan) confesses his bizarre exploits to an attentive but odd priest (Ron Perlman). Blake spins the strange yarn of his association with Willie Grimes (Larry Fessenden), with whom he battled vampires and zombies in order to market freshly stolen corpses to a creepy physician (Angus Scrimm).
