Fur trapper Joe Mersault (Devon Sawa) knew an off-the-grid existence in the Canadian wilderness with his wife Anne (Camille Sullivan) and tween daughter Renée (Summer H. Howell), and when a rogue wolf was ruining his snares, he left them behind in pursuit.
