Hooverphonic - Magnificent Tree

Belgium's Pop trio Hooverphonic has seemed to creatively move beyond their icy smooth seascape found on Blue Wonder Power Milk [MOVLP1394] and shift into a darkwave mood on their third full-length, The Magnificent Tree (2000). For 107 weeks, the album was represented in the Flemish Ultratop 50. Though early on, Hooverphonic was categorized as a trip hop group, they quickly expanded their sound to the point where they could no longer be described as a lone genre, but rather encompass alternative, electronica, electropop, rock, and mixture of others. The singles released from this album are 'Mad About You', 'Out Of Sight', 'Vinegar & Salt' and 'Jackie Cane'. The cover features the band members and a tree located on the town of Kieldrecht in Belgium.
