Holocene - Spurr: 30th Anniversary

Holocene added a refreshingly melodic blast of guitar pop to the sound of the heavy grunge bands that were prevalent in the 1990s. The Holocene sound is boisterous, harmony-driven power pop, with crunchy guitars and intergalactic. Their imagery was punchy, bright, and fun. Equally blissed-out and emotionally resonant, their sound invited comparisons with The Go-Go's, Redd Kross, Veruca Salt, The Bangles, and The Breeders. New digital and radio single Celestion' released on October 2 Album includes their cover of Badfinger's 'Flying' Popular band with the 90s Sound As Ever Facebook group (12K members) The band are playing live shows to launch the new single and album reissue
