Herbie Brock is a blind piano virtuoso steeped in the tradition of Art Tatum & Teddy Wilson, but also influenced by Horace Silver & others. He melds a strong classical background with exciting & instinctively astute improvisational ideas, joined by two very seasoned Miami pros, Bill Ladley & Bruce Caperton. Herbie recorded three albums during the late 1950s, and this was his best.
