Harper & Evans Project - The Harper and Evans Project

Saxophonist George Harper (Herbie Hancock, Jimmy Smith) and vocalist Karen Evans (Ray Charles, Patrice Rushen) team up to tackle some classic songs together. The musicians include: bassists Wendell Williams & Henry Franklin, Pianists Todd Hunter & Nate Morgan, drummers William Henderson & Don Littleton. Most tracks were done in one take and Karen is featured on four of the nine tunes including - My Romance, Autumn Leaves, the Shadow of Your Smile, Guess Who I Saw Today?, Little Waltz, Soul Eyes.
