2017 collection. Global success was a long time coming for Hank Locklin, but it finally arrived in 1960 thanks to 'Please Help Me I'm Falling', which took Locklin out of the Country & Western charts of the day and into the pop market. Prior to his success with that song, Locklin had been making records for more than a decade - solid country records that sold well in their intended market without ever really crossing over, including his original version of his own song 'Send Me The Pillow That You Dream On' - now a country standard.
