Half a Yellow Sun

L'AUTRE MOITIE DU SOLEIL; HALF A YELLOW SUN Returned to Nigeria after high school in England, the Olanna Kainene and sisters take advantage of the newly acquired independence of their homeland to take to turn the reins of their destiny. Olanna hand and join Odenigbo, a revolutionary teacher with whom she intends to make a living. Their union, however, has it's ups and downs when a one night gives Odenigbo a child. When the civil war broke out, the couple, belonging to the targeted tribe Igbo must move from village to village to escape death, gradually losing it's gains, but seeing tighten the bonds that unite.
