Hadestown: The Musical

Recorded at London's Lyric Theatre in 2025-and reuniting the five principal players from the original 2019 Broadway production-Anaïs Mitchell's stylish musical reimagining of Greek mythology has been captured for posterity. As Hades (Patrick Page) resents the chafing of Persephone (Amber Gray) over her annual stay in his factory town, he looks to lure Eurydice (Eva Noblezada) from the hardscrabble existence she's known with Orpheus (Reeve Carney). André de Shields co-stars; songs include Wait for Me, All I've Ever Known. 141 min. Widescreen; Soundtrack; English.
