Sous chef Emma (Lacey Chabert) had enough of being taken for granted, both personally and professionally, by her boyfriend/boss-and ditched him and the restaurant to regroup with her aunt in Hawaii. As she taps widowed and reluctant surf shop owner Ben (Ektor Rivera) for lessons, they may be catching the wave of a shared future.
