Gouvy/ Ratzenboeck/ Choeurs De La Grande Societe - Oedipe a Colone

After the premiere of Oedipus at Colonus in 1881, not much more was heard about Gouvy's opera. Joachim Fontaine examined the score under it's layer of archival mold and spent many years reconstructing it and working toward it's revival. This is the first recording of the opera since it's reconstruction.
