Goddess is the powerful new incarnation of Sweden's revered stoner/doom outfit Goatess. After founding guitarist Niklas departed, the remaining members chose to step into a fresh chapter and rebrand as Goddess - a name that better captures the divine, hypnotic, and majestic spirit of their music. The soul of the band remains untouched: crushing, riff-heavy traditional doom with thick, fuzzy stoner grooves, soaring vocals, and a dark, psychedelic edge that pays homage to the greats while carving out their own heavy legacy. Hailing from Stockholm, Goddess features seasoned musicians with a rich history in the Swedish underground (including members and alumni tied to acts like Crucifyre).
