Digitally re-mastered and expanded edition of this album from the brilliant British singer/songwriter. For his sixth album Gilbert worked with Elton John's erstwhile producer, Gus Dudgeon, to great effect. In the background, there loomed a complex, stressful and potentially catastrophic court case with his manager / producer Gordon Mills, but despite the professional mayhem, Gilbert had the one constant upon which to rely - his music. 'I was intact musically, that was my survival,' he says. 'I had the ability and the talent. They couldn't touch those.' How right he was. The single 'What's in a Kiss' returned him to the UK Top 20 singles chart and when the album was released in the Autumn of 1980, it deservedly received a favorable critical response. This re-mastered version also features the non-album b-side 'Down, Down, Down' as a bonus track. Salvo.
