Ghost Walks (1934) / Nightmare Castle (1964)

The Ghost Walks (1934) a theatrical producer, his secretary, and playwright Prescott Ames are stranded when their car skids off the road and gets stuck. The three take refuge in the nearby home of Dr. Kent, a friend of Ames. Soon afterwards comes the first in a series of mysterious and fearful events. Johnny Arthur steals the show in "The Ghost Walks" an old house mystery with sliding panels and hidden rooms. 63 minutes. Nightmare Castle (1964) a sadistic count tortures and murders his unfaithful wife and her lover, then removes their hearts from their bodies. The count remarries a few years later and the new wife experiences nightmares and haunting's. The ghosts of the slain return to exact their bloody revenge. One of the better horror films to come out of Italy. Nice atmospheric settings and creepy happenings. 79 minutes.
